DO NOW: Explain how you will complete your final project by Thursday. This project is half of your quarter grade. Some of you have already begun another movie for extra credit.
I will finish my IDEA iMovie by Thursday. It is very important that I do not blow this project, because it will be worth 1/2 of my quarter grade! And I really look forward to going to Six Flags Fiesta Texas. I will finish this project by being on task at all times. I will make sure that I have all the required parts and all the parts that make an interesting movie an interesting movie. If I have time, I might also make a second movie for extra credit.

How will I do whatever it takes so I can can accomplish today's objective?What will I do differently ?
I will keep quiet so I can focus on the assignment. I will write the whole script, but talking to others will only slow me down. I don't want to find myself in the big black hole of darkness today or any other day. So I will stay focused on the project. I will not get out of my seat because that will also slow me down. The faster I get done right the better!

DO NOW: In class today, I will learn how to take my picture, re-image my picture and access my pictures in iMovie. Explain how you will learn today and how you can accomplish this task in 15 minutes.
I will learn how to do all that in only 15 minutes by paying attention to Mrs. Hinojosa when she is teaching us how to use the applications. Then, when it's our turn to use the applications, I won't have to ask the teacher a lot of questions. Then, I can do a rockstar job real quick. I will do my best the first time so that I have more time to create my final product. I will finish this Do Now quick so that I can get started on the other assignments on time. With my time balanced wisely, I'm sure to get done today.

Re-Typed Poem and Reflection of Poem
If you think you are beaten, you are,
If you think you dare not, you don't,
If you like to win, but you think you can't,
It is almost certain you won't.
If you think you'll lose, you're lost,
For out in the world we find,
Success begins with a fellow's will.
It's all in the state of mind.
If you think you are outclassed, you are,
You've got to think high to rise,
You've got to be sure of yourself before
You can ever win a prize.
Life's battles don't always go
To the stronger or faster man.
But soon or late the man who wins,
Is the man who thinks he can.
I think the poem above is trying to say that if we want to be victorious, we must believe in ourselves. If we're not confident, we can't be successful. Also, the poem expresses how, if we don't try, we can't achieve anything.Doing something is a lot better than doing nothing. If you think you'll be a failure you will. It's all in your state of mind.

Write how can you find the sale price of 25% off of $125?
1 Find the percentage's fraction out of 100.
1a 25%=25/100
2 Reduce the fraction.
2a 25/100=1/4
3 Multiply the price times the reduced fraction.
3a $125*1/4=$31.25
4 Subtract the product from the price.
4a $125-$31.25=$93.75
So the sale price is $93.75.
