Teens might hack into computers illegally to phreak, or hack into the phone network, because they want to make free long-distance calls.

Teens might hack into computers to cause mischief.

Teens might hack into computers to harm our nation's society.

Teens might hack into computers because they want to bring down some big organization.

Teens might hack into computers because they are "looking for a challenge."

Teens might hack into computers because they want to do it "just for fun."

Part 1: Other Possible Consequences of Hacking?

They could be sent to a juvie (juvenile) center.

 If the hacker is a teen, he/she could be tried as an adult and be sent to jail instead of to the place for juvie delinquents. 

They could lose their computer priviliges at school, at home, at the library, and elsewhere.

If it's something really serious, they could get the death penalty.

Who would want all these consequences?

Hacking is not worth it.
